Why mark after hours?
A closed site is lost revenue, frustrated customers and disrupted staff. Marking after hours removes all three. The benefits:
- Zero downtime — you keep trading; we work while you're closed
- No lost revenue — your site keeps trading every business day
- Safer application — an empty site means no live traffic around wet paint
- Faster completion — no working around moving cars and pedestrians
For retail sites, warehouses, shopping centres and busy commercial premises, overnight marking is usually the only sensible option.
How does after-hours marking work?
We plan the whole job around your closing time:
- Site walk & fixed quote — we assess the layout and price it, usually within 24–48 hours
- Schedule the window — overnight, weekend or your quietest trading period
- Stage the work — we section the site and mark zone by zone
- Dry, dry, done — standard paint is touch-dry under an hour, so bays are ready before you reopen
For larger sites we mark in stages across 1–3 nights, keeping part of your site open throughout.
Will the paint be dry before we open?
Yes. Standard line-marking paint is touch-dry within an hour and fully trafficable well before morning. We section freshly marked areas while they cure and time the job so every bay is ready for your first customer. For high-wear zones we use premium long-life paint and two-pack epoxy, with return-to-service times confirmed before we start.
What can we mark overnight?
- Car parks — bays, accessible spaces, arrows, walkways, numbering
- Warehouses & factories — forklift lanes, pedestrian routes, hazard zones
- Line removal & re-marking — strip faded or wrong lines, re-set the layout
- Stencils & signage — "Keep Clear", reserved bays, custom wording
